A creative four hour outdoor experience bringing together families to explore nature, culture, and hands-on making together. All ages welcome, this session will be designed towards young people up to 11 and their accompanying family members. (We have separate sessions running Sunday 12th July and Saturday 25th July aimed towards 11-16 year olds and their family members)
Participants are invited to slow down, connect with the outdoors, and take part in creative, nature-based activities including craft, whittling, fire cooking, and storytelling. The emphasis is on shared experience, creativity, and wellbeing in a relaxed woodland setting.
You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks but we will be providing ingredients and making lunch on the fire!
The day is designed to increase access to nature-based creative opportunities, particularly for those who may not have had regular access before. Small group sizes ensure activities can be adapted to individual needs, with flexibility, support, and inclusion at the centre of every session.
