The Water Mill, Calbourne Newport Road, Calbourne PO30 4JN (West)

OVERVIEW

A creative four hour outdoor experience bringing together families to explore nature, culture, and hands-on making together. Each session is intergenerational, designed for different generations to take part side by side. This session is aimed towards 11-16 year olds and their family members).

Participants are invited to slow down, connect with the outdoors, and take part in creative, nature-based activities including craft, whittling, fire cooking, and storytelling. The emphasis is on shared experience, creativity, and wellbeing in a relaxed woodland setting.

You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks but we will be providing ingredients and making lunch on the fire!

The day is designed to increase access to nature-based creative opportunities, particularly for those who may not have had regular access before. Small group sizes ensure activities can be adapted to individual needs, with flexibility, support, and inclusion at the centre of every session.

Leave with new skills and ideas for continuing outdoor creativity together beyond the sessions!
