The Cultural Development Agency for the Isle of Wight

Open Studios

Isle of Wight Open Studios continues to grow as a cornerstone of the Isle of Wight’s cultural calendar and following the success of this year’s much-loved IW Open Studios – which saw over 120 artists participating – along with artists valuable feedback, new dates and a bold vision are being set for 2025.

From 16th-26th May 2025, this vibrant 10-day celebration of art will once again open doors across the Island, inviting both residents and visitors to explore the unique creative worlds of local artisans. Area Reps will once again support artists across all four key areas of the Island, to strengthen community ties among participants and provide a more cohesive experience for visitors as they journey through the Island’s diverse art landscape.

Georgia Newman, Director of Isle of Wight Open Studios CIC, is excited about next year’s event: “Our vision for IW Open Studios is to expand its reach and deepen its impact. We’re nurturing an arts scene that appeals to both experienced art lovers and those new to the arts. As a self-funded Community Interest Company, we’re delighted to have the support of Creative Island again for 2025.”

Georgia added a call-out to Island businesses… “Could you support IW Open Studios to sustain and celebrate our Island’s cultural legacy? Get in touch via the website. We’d love to talk to you!” As preparations build for the 2025 event, artists are invited to register via the IW Open Studios website before midday on December 29th’s deadline. Visit the Open Studios website to sign up, discover opportunities, or learn more. Remember to follow @iwopenstudios to stay up to date.

As the Isle of Wight’s cultural development agency, Creative Island invites everyone to join in celebrating the rich artistic heritage of the island.
