The Isle of Wight Cultural Education Partnership (CEP) prepares to launch its new academic year with a crucial networking event later this month.

The first CEP meeting of the academic year takes place on Tuesday 30th September at Quay Arts Centre in Newport.

Bringing together Island voices
Cultural partners are invited to join the gathering from 2.30pm onwards. Teachers will arrive from 3.30pm onwards.

The event creates dedicated space for networking amongst the Island’s creative professionals and educators.

Attendees will share updates on their current projects whilst forging new connections across the cultural and educational sectors.

Teachers from across the Island will participate in these vital conversations about cultural education opportunities.

Special focus on ‘Can You Hear Us’ project
The meeting features a special presentation that promises to outline exciting future developments.

Jo Ridley, Project Producer for ‘Can You Hear Us’, will address the gathering with details of upcoming plans.

Her presentation will highlight specific opportunities for collaboration between cultural organisations and educational institutions.

Open invitation to cultural sector
The partnership extends its invitation to all members of the Island’s creative and cultural community.

Anyone working within the Island’s cultural landscape can request attendance at this important gathering.
