Creative Island continue their series of informal gatherings aimed at bringing together the Island’s vibrant creative and cultural community.

These gatherings, known as Creative Island Town Conversations (formerly known as Hubs), provide a platform for individuals involved in creative and cultural work to connect, exchange ideas and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

The sessions encourage open dialogue about ambitions and challenges, fostering an environment where participants can seek and propose solutions together.

What to expect
The sessions are informal and designed to spark meaningful conversation. Those taking part can expect a relaxed atmosphere conducive to networking and idea-sharing.

Discussions will touch on aspirations within the community, potential hurdles and strategies to overcome these challenges.

Participants will also be encouraged to share their thoughts on possible collaborative projects, expanding on the opportunities available on the Isle of Wight.

Upcoming sessions
Another two sessions have been organised; a return to the West and the first session in Cowes.

The West Wight Town Conversation takes place on Monday, 25th November, from 7.30pm to 9pm. It will be held at the West Wight Sports and Community Centre (PO40 9XH). Book now

The Cowes Town Conversation takes place on Tuesday, 10th December, running from 6.30pm to 8pm. This meeting will be hosted at the Cowes Community Club (Plessey Club) (PO31 7NP). Book now

Why attend?
These conversations offer a chance to meet like-minded people, share insights and forge potential partnerships. The gatherings aim to build a stronger network within the creative and cultural sectors on the Island.

Whether you are an artist, musician, writer, performer, or cultural organiser, these sessions present an opportunity to contribute to a collective vision for the Isle of Wight’s creative future.

Mark your calendars and come along to join the conversation. Every voice contributes to shaping a stronger, more connected creative landscape on the Isle of Wight.
