Tapestry Making

Be a history maker!

Join dozens of other Classic Boat Museum visitors in helping to create the Boatyard Tapestry.

Using free resources and design ideas provided by the museum, you can create your own “episode” of the tapestry, inspired by the boats, stories and people connected with Cowes’ rich maritime heritage.

All completed episodes will be exhibited at the museum over the summer. Local artist Jo Kori will then choose the strongest example from each episode to be stitched onto the final Boatyard Tapestry, which will go on permanent display at the Classic Boat Museum.
