Are you a budding musician hoping to be discovered? There are just a few more days to enter the #RSDUnsigned competition designed to propel independent artists through the power of vinyl.
This year, the stakes are high. The winning artist or band will receive a vinyl manufacturing package, talent development opportunities and a live festival slot, promising invaluable exposure within the music industry.
Exclusive prizes for the winner
The winning artist will see 500 vinyl records of their music pressed by Breed Media, an exceptional opportunity to create a tangible, collectible version of their work.
They’ll also get a mastering session at the renowned Abbey Road Studios, courtesy of Bowers & Wilkins. Known worldwide, Abbey Road provides artists with world-class audio expertise in an environment steeped in musical history.
Festival slot and talent development
In addition to the vinyl production and Abbey Road session, the winning artist will secure a spot on the bill at Truck Festival 2025. This live performance opportunity places the artist on one of the UK’s prominent festival stages, offering exposure to an enthusiastic audience of music lovers.
As part of the prize package, the artist will participate in an eight-week talent development programme run by Charmfactory, an industry leader in artist promotion. The programme will help the winner grow and refine their brand, equipping them with essential tools to navigate the music industry.
The promise of vinyl for emerging artists

- Submit one video of up to two minutes introducing your music (all genres welcome!)
- You must be unsigned and have original material.
- You must be 16 or over and a UK resident to enter this competition.
- Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain parent or guardian consent.
- Fill in the form which must include a YouTube link to your song.
