Independent Arts

As part of CAN YOU HEAR US?, Independent Arts will work with their creative groups and eight residential care homes, using the shared ideas of the seed and the wildflower meadow as a starting point. These themes will open conversations, reflections and memories within each group, helping ideas to emerge and grow.

Through guided meditation, drawing and group discussions, participants will explore their place within the wider Independent Arts community and think about how their ideas might develop. Each group will be supported to create work in ways that suit them through sound, movement, visual art or other forms of expression. The project will end with a public event where the group’s work is shared and celebrated.
