IW National Landscape

Present: Landed

Creative Island and Isle of Wight National Landscape are commissioning three new public artworks for Autumn 2026. Artists are invited to create ambitious, site-responsive work that celebrates the Island’s National Landscape and the people, stories and environments within it. One commission will take place at Appuldurcombe House, with two further commissions at locations across the south and west of the Island. Artists will respond to the natural and built environment, involve communities and young people, and create live or time-based public experiences that invite audiences to connect with place.

Together, these commissions will showcase the Isle of Wight as a creative, contemporary and distinctive landscape for residents, visitors, artists and future generations alike.
