THE GARAGE is an exciting new venue curated by the VEX Spoken Word Collective. It’s THE place for poetry and spoken word at Fringe. What it lacks in size it makes up for in character, with a varied programme of events and exhibitions that’ll run throughout Fringe. When there’s not some kind of performance on, it’ll be open for anybody to explore it as an exhibition space including a multitude of interactive elements to help the budding poet in you flourish.

CAN YOU HEAR US? Microgrants programme has funded the ‘Poetry Pharmacy’ element of The Garage. You will be presented with a menu of emotions you may wish to experience, such as hope, joy, or inspiration. You will then be prescribed a poem designed to evoke that feeling.
