Young creatives on the Isle of Wight have an opportunity to secure funding to develop their skills, with applications now open for the Mike Howley Trust awards.
The deadline for applications is fast approaching, with submissions closing at midnight on Monday, 17th February.
Support for a range of creative fields
The funding is available to creatives aged 18-30 who are pursuing careers in music, dance, theatre, film or writing.
Successful applicants can use the financial support for a variety of purposes, including training, coaching, recording, rehearsal space, staging, publishing, instruments, equipment, conference fees, travel, accommodation and legal costs.
Grants of up to £1,500 available
The awards are offered at three levels: £500, £1,000 and £1,500.
This funding aims to help young creatives take their work to the next stage by removing some of the financial barriers that can often hinder progress.
How to apply
Applicants can find full details, including eligibility criteria and application guidelines, on the Quay Arts website.
With the deadline fast approaching, those interested should prepare their applications as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this valuable opportunity.
