From Friday 16th May to Bank Holiday Monday 26th May, the Isle of Wight becomes a vibrant hub of creativity as Open Studios 2025 gets underway.
More than 150 artists across the Island are opening their doors to the public, inviting visitors to explore their working studios and meet the makers behind the work.
Step inside the studios
This popular annual event offers a rare chance to see inside the creative spaces of Island artists.
Visitors can enjoy studios set in scenic locations and purchase original artwork directly from the artists.
A wide range of disciplines are on display, including painting, ceramics, sculpture, jewellery, photography, textiles and more.

The official Isle of Wight Open Studios website provides four clear Area Maps and a full Artists Directory, which can be viewed online or downloaded.
A printed version is also available across the Island and includes details of a competition to win a £200 voucher to spend on art from any participating artist.
Start at Quay Arts
To help plan your journey, the Showcase Exhibition at Quay Arts in Newport offers a preview of selected works.
This free exhibition is open now and runs until 31st May.

A celebration of Island creativity
Isle of Wight Open Studios is more than just an arts event.
It invites locals and visitors alike to explore the Island in a new way, while supporting the artists who help define its cultural life.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or simply curious, each studio offers a warm welcome and a unique insight into the artistic process.
Entry to all venues is free.
