Small and micro businesses on the Isle of Wight are invited to a conference to learn about the advantages of shared apprenticeships and supporting the next generation.

The Flexible and Inclusive Apprenticeships Conference takes place at the Isle of Wight College Business Centre on Thursday, 14th November 2024, from 9.45am to 12.00pm.

The CEP, Solent Careers Hub, and The Isle of Wight College have collaborated to host this new event focused on flexible and inclusive apprenticeships and placements.

Exploring opportunities and inclusion strategies
The mini-conference aims to bring together local businesses to discuss opportunities in flexible and shared apprenticeships and T Level placements.

Attendees will hear presentations from experienced providers and local businesses on the benefits and practicalities of these programmes.

There will also be discussions on strategies for creating more inclusive workplaces for apprentices, helping employers make their environments welcoming for all new talent.

Networking breakfast and collaboration
From 11.15am, a light breakfast will be served, providing a networking opportunity for employers.

This is a chance to connect with other businesses, exchange ideas, and discuss potential collaborations that could benefit Isle of Wight students in 2025.

Participation in this event plays a crucial role in shaping the future of apprenticeships on the Island.

How to get involved
Those interested in attending the conference are asked to RSVP by completing the online form.
