Platform One College for Creative Education will present its annual Sustainable Fashion Show on Friday 16th May, set in the historic and atmospheric setting of Newport Minster.

Guests can arrive from 7pm, with time to browse student portfolios and view the creative work on display before the runway show begins.

Over 40 original designs on the runway
The event will feature more than 40 unique looks, all designed and handmade by students on Platform One’s Sustainable Fashion courses.

Designs from BA (Hons) students include three full collections. BTEC students will also present their work, with this year marking a special milestone: the graduation of the first cohort from the sustainable fashion programme.

Sustainable dress code and purpose
Organisers are encouraging guests to dress sustainably and fashionably, in keeping with the evening’s celebration of conscious creativity.

The show highlights not just style and skill, but also the values of ethical fashion, spotlighting the next generation of designers working with purpose.

The team at Platform One invites the Island’s community to support this vibrant and values-led showcase.
